It is our pleasure to introduce Shihan Pradeep Parekh, Chief Instructor of "The Karate Academy of Japan Goju-Ryu Karate Do India Seiwakai", who holds a 6th Degree Black Belt.
Shihan Pradeep Parekh's martial arts journey began in 1983 under the guidance of renowned Sensei Nikhil Trivedi, a well-known figure in the karate world with Black Belt degrees in six different martial arts.
Shihan Pradeep Parekh pioneered karate in Bhavnagar, successfully clearing his Golden-Brown Belt-1st Kyu Exam in 1991 and becoming an official Goju-Ryu Karate Instructor.
In 1995, Shihan Pradeep Parekh achieved a significant milestone by successfully passing a rigorous examination for his 1st Degree Black Belt at the World Budokan Organization's karate camp in Lonavala, Maharashtra, earning his First Dan.
Karate Academy of Japan Gojuryu Karate Do India, led by Sensei Pradeep Parekh, collaborates with renowned national and international masters to promote traditional martial arts. The academy has hosted distinguished instructors from countries like Italy, Canada, Australia, and Britain.
In 1995, achieved 1st Degree Black Belt at the World Budokan Organization's karate camp in Lonavala, Maharashtra.
Received training from esteemed martial artists including 6th Dan Joji Abrahim, 5th Dan Hosi Batliwala, and 7th Dan Sensei Rajesh Thakkar.
Trained under international masters including Professor Brian Doset (10th Dan) from London and Shihan Sean Wong (7th Dan) from Canada.
In 2023, achieved 6th Dan after training with world champion Kyoshi Glenn Stephenson (7th Dan) from Australia.

ACADEMY OF FILIPINO ARNIS COMBAT - INDIA is affiliated with AEHCANRAB INTEGRATED MARTIAL ARTS INTERNATIONAL - CANADA and is run by Master Pradeep Parekh in Bhavnagar - Gujarat.
Shihan Pradeep Parekh respects each martial art like Kalaripayattu, Thagata, etc. Arnis (Filipino Martial Arts) has created a great impression on him. He took training under Canadian Master SGS Ruben O. Barnachea and achieved 5th degree Black belt in Arnis.
He was awarded as the Chief Instructor of India in Arnis. We are the only organisation in Gujarat that provides training in Arnis, making this academy a unique center for Filipino martial arts in the region.
Shihan Pradeep Parekh was mentioned for his contribution to Karate in a prestigious research project published by Okinawa, known as the Birthplace of Karate.
His work is recognized by world-renowned organizations including Japan Karate Federation (JKF) Gojukai and All Japan Goju-Ryu Seiwakai.
He has provided special training to the Bhavnagar police team on four occasions, demonstrating his commitment to community service.
The culture of Dojo (The Karate class) is like a big family. Students range from 5 to 50 years old, and Shihan Pradeep Parekh's experience allows him to train all age groups scientifically based on their strength and understanding.
This approach has resulted in parents practicing alongside their children, ensuring the next generation is trained in the field of karate. The organization has grown to include over 50 active centers and more than 8,000 students, with 600 successful Black Belt students to date.
