The Karate Academy of Japan Goju-Ryu Karate Do India is a premier martial arts institution dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional art of Goju-Ryu Karate. Led by Shihan Pradeep Parekh, Chief Instructor of India and pioneer who started this academy in India, our academy has been at the forefront of martial arts education in India for over four decades.
We teach authentic Goju-Ryu Karate, a traditional style that originated in Okinawa, Japan, developed by Chojun Miyagi in the early 20th century. The name "Goju-Ryu" translates to "hard-soft style," reflecting its unique blend of hard striking techniques with softer circular movements.
Our training encompasses three essential components: Kihon (basics), Kata (forms), and Kumite (sparring). This comprehensive approach ensures students develop physical fitness, mental discipline, and practical self-defense skills.
