In a moment of pride for Bhavnagar, the city is hosting a 7-day Traditional Karate Seminar led by the world-renowned 7th-degree black belt holder, Sensei Sean Wong from Canada. This marks Sensei Wong’s first visit to India, making the event even more special.
The seminar is being organized under the guidance of Sensei Pradeepbhai Parekh, a Third-Degree Black Belt Karate Instructor who has been dedicated to teaching self-defense and traditional karate for over 30 years in Bhavnagar.
Since 1991, Sensei Parekh has been running Karate classes at Sanskar Mandal Akhada, Ghogha Circle, where hundreds of students, including children and youth, have been trained in the art of Karate for personal safety and discipline.
With a passion for martial arts and over 37 years of experience, Sensei Parekh has successfully trained over 5,000 students, out of which more than 300 have earned their black belts. His reach extends across 25+ dojos and schools throughout Bhavnagar and nearby districts.
Sensei Parekh has also provided specialized training to police personnel on three occasions and regularly organizes district-level karate championships.
This seminar is a unique opportunity for students and practitioners to receive world-class training directly from one of the finest martial artists internationally — Sensei Sean Wong, also known as the International Karate King.
