On 5th January 2025, the 12th State Karate Championship was grandly organized at Vrajvihar Hall, Ghogha Circle, Bhavnagar, by the Karate Academy of Japan Gojuryu India under the leadership of Chief Instructor Shihan Pradip Parekh.
This prestigious championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 450 students representing various districts of Gujarat, including Bhavnagar, Botad, Rajkot, Junagadh, Ahmedabad, and Amreli. The event served as a platform to promote discipline, self-defense awareness, and the spirit of sportsmanship among young martial artists.
The tournament was graced by the presence of respected dignitaries, including Bhavnagar District Sports Officer Mr. Naresh Gohil, principals and trustees of reputed schools, and notable figures from the local community. These guests encouraged the students and honored the winners with medals and certificates for their achievements.
The event was meticulously planned and successfully executed by the academy’s team of black belt instructors, whose hard work and coordination played a key role in the event's success. The 12th State Karate Championship not only highlighted technical excellence in Karate but also reinforced values of discipline and confidence among youth.
